Thursday, 15 May 2014

For students interested in pursuing or advancing their career in international affairs, whether in government, international organizations, nonprofit, or the corporate world sector, the American Graduate School in Paris offers graduate programs specializing in international relations, diplomacy, international business, and related areas. Two types of graduate programs are available: full degree programs (which can be undertaken full-time or part-time); and short-term non degree programs, for students who wish to study abroad in Paris for a semester and earn credits toward their home degree, or for students or professionals residing in France and wishing to earn a certificate in a specialized area of international relations.

AGS also welcomes undergraduate students to study abroad in Paris for a semester and gain graduate-level experience.

AGS combines the interactive methods of US higher education with the rich resources of France and Europe, in an intimate and personalized learning environment in the heart of Paris. Programs are open to students from all backgrounds and nationalities (more information on admissions is to be found here.) The language of instruction is English, so you do not need any prior knowledge of French to apply - you then have the opportunity to learn French along with your curriculum. The courses carefully balance academic with practical approaches in order to make you fully prepared to successfully enter the professional arena.

The curricula are both rigorous and flexible, allowing you to tailor the program of your choice around your particular interests and career objectives through course electives, area concentrations, certificates, dual degree options , internship opportunities, and study abroad experiences that further internationalize your experience.
